Wow! Tommaso ... thank you for understanding this work so well! It makes me very happy. Rather it is a picture that has gone quite unnoticed. Therefore, it still has more merit your review. Have a nice weekend, Malules

A pic perfect and appropriate to the concept, Malules. You have express really the simplicity here, You emphasize the concept with the play of dof or work in post according Zen.
The image remind to "here and now" and therefore to the "present moment" where the present is only a bridge between two wide space: the past and the future.
Of coure in my fav! Have a nice WE, Tommaso

As I say to AJ, is simply a texture of a canvas. No post process, except as a framing square. The intention is in the simplicity of means, not color and retouching. I appreciate your interest and comment on this particular work, dear Ray. my best regards to you, my friend, Malules

Omm!Certainly a minimalist work-what you see here seems to be less important than what you imagine you see or what there may be behind this rather unexceptional bit of material. You seem to be moving into an area of abstraction in which the image itself is of diminishing importance...is more of a pretext..Ommmmmmmmm With love, Tony

Very minimalist Malules and I agree with AJ here. Is this an example of good selective focussing or is it achieved with postwork?? It is certainly intriguing and that is what abstract photography is all about. It is a tease and you make of it what you will. Well done my friend, it caught my eye and that is what we set out to achieve. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

I have to say, I'm finding this difficult to comment upon, Malules! It is certainly minimalist... I suppose it has got me wondering one thing: is it shallow DOF turned through 90 degrees, or is it material draped over a bar or support of some sort? I'm not looking for an answer - I'm just letting you know what I'm thinking. Sorry that my thoughts are technical rather than artistic!
AJ
