About A Vintage scan: from Butlins at Skegness...This type of routine 'mass portrait' was probably a compulsory part of the week's holiday, but I don't think I'm on it!

a lot of goodwill on the part of the people here though, whatever the weather at Skegness. (Must look that up now).

Oh fantastic! Butlins at Skegness (sounds bloody Norwiegian to me)!!
And it occurs to me Never having had the pleasure mind that there was a hell of a lot of hosable concrete about a butlins camp.
Not only no mud to complain about but no sand and nothing a bucket couldn't rinse away.
Great float Len!

I remember it well my dear Len. My two girls always wanted their week at Butlins whilst they were young and this we did over a number of years. The thought of doing it now makes me feel a little ill but it served a purpose back then. They loved it. It is great to see the fashions of that era again. Thanks for sharing this memory my friend.
A belated Happy New Year to you. I am catching up with UF after my seasonal break. My very best wishes to you as always.....Ray

I'm so glad those times have passed..but the historical perspective is always good to see. Did you spot the guy in the back row, centre, now he looks like he's enjoying himself..
Regards, Gary
