About Another graffiti in St. Gallen, a smaller one this time. I found it very nice in its own way. Hopefully the shot was adequate too. Any comments would be very welcome.

If one captures such works of others, and then applies 200 filters and presents them as the "own creations" then it is plagiarism, Aziz. If one captures them and presents them trying to keep their exact look, then it is a reference and no plagiarim at all. Such elementary things we have to know.

Thanks a lot again,

Nick

I am glad you find it nice, Ivona.

Photography is definitely not the collection of images of things that one "likes". (This would be the naive version of the typical "poetry albums" of the teenies.) Photography has to make the "special" out of anything. Though I do like graffiti very much as one of most immediate urban expression methods of our days, such images are like "documents of what is" rather than "nice things". And in this sense I also don't know if the shot was adequate or if some things could be done better. This is what a comment was mainly intented for, I'm afraid.

Cheers!

I'm not sure about capturing photo of photos or paintings of others ! It looks like copying others' work to me !
I personaly capture this kind of arts in combination with other subjects.
Here the texture of bricks does help !
