Then it is the very first time that I see somebody using them reasonably, Marcio!
For me it is a hint toward two things: The first is, that most people use such things expecting to turn the image to something "good" without any simple bit of understanding or taste. The digital down fooled most wannabes to believe that they just get a camera and photoshop and they automatically become "artists".
The second thing is that, as we see, good mastering and udnerstaning of such means like the filters you used *are* able to produce good results, when used with awareness and skill, just like you did here.
I don't use any post-processing at all, but still I thank you for your willingness to give me that information. It is nice of you, really.
Cheers!
Nick

On the grains and noise used here are made with the treatment with photoshop plugins that simulate film .. I can tell you if you want the name. A big hug. Thanks again Nick.

Very good lighting balance and also good composition and timing, Marcio. Especially that combination of timing and exposure that burns the face expression so powerfully on the image.
In some small imperfections a bit less of that striking definition power that I see from almost all of your images, but here it is perhaps a bit more of a documentary snap.
BTW, how do you get that fantastic fine grain-like noise with your D200? It looks great, and for the first time I see such a film-like approach with digital equipment!
Cheers!

Looks like he's not selling to many, and you've conveyed his boredom very well, Marcio! Dave.
