Hi Amber.. I think a little more attention to detail would work better her.. getting rid of the patch of brick wall is time consuming and so a bit more thought in terms of preparing for the shot is called for. So always think about your camera angle before squeezing down the button helps. I think too that if tou had tweaked the levels a bit and upped the contrast a bit as you would do in a darkroom it would lift the image and make the ordinary extraordinary.. keep up the good work I look forward to seeing some shots from the holidays as well..
