About This time darker and with longer shadows but still (hopefully) retaining the glossy look of the shells. Any comments (especially about composition) would be very welcome.

Considering how they turned the world to look like their own burned brains they should really try to hide, Harry. But nonetheless we find them. Their shell is called either "Bundestag", or "House of parlaments", or "White house", etc. Well known places all of them. ;-)

But what about the image?

Cheers!

Yes, and so considering also your other message, I guess that a different perspective would be interesting here, as it could be used for retaining the whole shadows on image, Dave. This could also brake the typical monotony of a flat image.

I think that this will be the general "plan" for my next attmpt with the shells.

Thanks a bunch!

Well done tones and shadows, Nick! I would like to see all of the shadow, though.

Another excellent angle and composition. The light is superb overhere and the long shadow. Simple background of the subject is well going with this composition. Nice framing too.
