Hi Gary, Thanks for the feedback on my image. This is a palladium print on Arches Platine water colour paper. I think that the noise you refer to is the surface of the paper. Scanning these never do them justice.
What an excellent modern version of a period piece image. Dress, pose and mono conversion all work well here. My only qualm is that digital noise never looks as good as or, in this case authentic as, film grain. Regards, Gary
