Most likely Jen it is a result of hot air bubbles in combination with sand etc. Harry

Of course a fata morgana...missing the palmtrees and waterpools:)) And no I am not herderziend at all, as my life would look quite different in that case:)) There was no sun, not showing anyway, as there was an amazing sandstorm, we had to cover up with burka's and sunglasses, and nooooooooo didnt move like an ufo...tsssss, you teasing me and doubting my mentally well-beeing, which I dont blame you for.....:)))

It may have been a fata morgana with the sun mirrored. I dont know if you are 'helderziend' but if so it may have been the Light. I saw the Light once but with my eyes closed. Was the sun in that direction ? The a part of the heat/sky may work as a magnifying glass. I assume it was not moving like in UFO movies. Best guess fata morgana.

A striking example of how an image can convey the nature of a place, Jen! I can feel the heat radiating from this one. Dave.
