Yes, and so are the police and fire departments, but no one seems to recoil at that notion. Perhaps now we can overcome some other obstacles, now that a MAJOR obstacle or three was knocked down last night, by a convincing majority.

Yes indeed. Russian fisherman have a proverb, "Pray to God...and row to shore." This country is truly in a sea-change, and I am so eager for the majority to get a taste of truly progressive policies that benefit EVERYONE. Oh, does that sound Socialist? ;)

Thanks, Paul. Here in NYC, the lines to vote are the longest I've ever seen, all the way around the block.
I've also noticed that on TV, the internet and in paper publications, volunteer organizations seem to think the time is ripe for activism.
Hope is empty without participation.
