I think you went the way I like to go to Eastern Sierra's. Then I looked again. I haven't been here. Big Trees and Yosemite for them? I do like these trees. Excellent photograph and capture.

hi Brigitte. thanks for your kind comments. I've been on the road a lot and just haven't had the time to post or respond to any comments. I see you're out and about as usual. Always ending up some place cool. This image speaks volumes. I think the thing I like the most is you chose to leave people in the shot, that helps with reference to the true size of the tree. AS always, a beautiful shot.

A fine shot of these giants, Brigitte! They are truly amazing, and the people beside them adds to the composition and provides scale to their immense size. A very interesting "about", too. Dave.

WOW Brigitte what a great image - all your information is an added bonus as well - I like your crop as that could be a very confusing choice - I like how well you've composed this image - the natural color tones are also attractive- excellent exposure - great quality all around Warm Regards, Michele~

very well of you to show us the land of the giants, just to inform you, that the oldest creature living at this planet is a tree, and it aged more than 5000 year,it is somewhere in the US,I forgot where, and it is a giant too,but it lives on some mountains at the west of the US,and it was considered as a bonsai,by some because it has difficult and hard land, it is my turn to show you the land of the natural dwarfs, http://www.usefilm.com/image/1476412.html my best regards, Saad.
