The mill almost faced demolition in the 1980s, but was saved by a private buyer, who converted the former oil mill into a corn mill, and restored the building. The Hooydonk Water Mill is open to the public, and there are regular mill demonstrations and educational events held in the mill complex.
do not like the compo; the eyes on the roof are the key point so I'd try other approach but not sure what kind of cropping would be better; my advice: get to there again and take a new picture :) jd
