Thanks a lot for the original and the message, Saad! A.. "dead" shot, you say? Well, I must say, it is fullk of real life to me! Any I mean both the original and the edited one.
The altered image has of course the better balance of light and shadow, but the original has the stronger "live" approach. Both are very good to me.

dear Nick,this was a dead shot for me,I have a new version of ACDsee PRO 2.5 and only very lately just few days ago I have discovered that it contain a nine fields equalizer for correcting highlight and shadows and also it is capable of framing photos,so I have tried the both,and the shot came alive,and I have tried it on all my dead shot,it revive all of them in different degrees,kindly to have a look at it,and here is also the original shot that was shot originally in small size,my best regards,

Now, this a ver good street image with strong perspective, good details and well balanced lighting, Saad! The two persons there add interest in the otherwise empty road between the chaotically not uniform facades. One has really much to look at here, and as you preserved the atmosphere so well it really conveys the very being, the essence of the that place. A bit better visibility of those people sitting in the shadows at the depth would be also nice, but still not absolutely necessary.
