Thanks Hakan. I appreciate the encouragement as well. My style fits my mood and is subject to change accordingly. This was a shot in a snow storm with a new (used) prime to see what kind of POV and depth I could get with this lens. The light was marginal but I think it added some to the mood. Thanks so much!
Be well, Stan

Hi RG! The weekend before last the mountains got 3 feet or better. We had about 18" where I live. It has all melted down at lower elevations. Was in the high 60's for a few days. Did you leave anything worthwhile in Vegas. Hope it went well! Wish I could see a fall in the east sometime. We just do not have as many colorful trees in the Rockys. Lots of ever greeens, but I do like those maples. We have mostly yellow foliage for the trees that are deciduous. Most of our leaves have fallen. H
eaded for a crash course with the old man winter.
Be well!! Old GG!!

Hope you are well my dear friend. Fall is glowing here in NY, I love this time of the year :)
Be well!

Thanks so much Aria, was trying to make a very ordinary crane special. Thanks for seeing my POV. Using normal lens to create depth.
Be well, Stan

Just keeping it interesting my friend. The handicap would be 18" of snow today!!! This picture was taken this summer in golf league by a friend of mine with my camera. I am the guy too beat in this league!!! I have a 70-3 record over the years in this league. I do not like to loose to the guys that I have to play. Many I have to give as many a 12 strokes in a 9 hole match. Makes me work for it. Have a good day! Life is good,be well, Stan

Thanks Mitra. Have been watching this crane move a lot of material for a temporary bridge big enough to support cranes, excavators and concrete trucks for the new bridge. Glad you liked it, the frame was just a try at some drop shadow and light.
Be well, Stan

Too early for snow, Stan, hope it doesn't stay! You've used your time wisely with this dramatic shot of the crane.
Dave.
