About In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary. ~Aaron Rose

This is the Brooklyn bridge taken from a neighborhood called DUMBO(down under the Manhattan bridge overpass)in Brooklyn, with an interesting sculpture in the foreground. You are looking over at Manhattan.

Nice composition, Alison. But I guess the sculpture stole my attention. I wonder what it is. Is that thing lighted?

Regards.

Hi Alison. If you dont already, try shooting the photo in RAW, then you can play with the white balance a bit. I think the colour temperature here might be adjusted somewhat (lower).

Also, how long was the exposure? Do you have any others without the sculpture?

Actually interesting that I happened upon this photo today, I will be going to Hong Kong a little later today and might shoot some photos while there...

Take care ~ James

Beautifully done night shot, Alison! I like the lighting and composition, and the foreground sculpture is interesting to say the least.

Very nice night shot, but the sculpture is a bit to much dominant. My eyes too much focus on the foregeround and not the BG.
Best wishes, Sascha
