Thank YOU very much for those too-kind words, Paolo. It is the wonderful feedback I get from my Usefilm friends that has helped me reach this level, and I hope I can get much better still.
Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

Tear drop in my eyes in looking at your beautiful portfolio, Paul! Great shots and great models. You're inspiration for me. Amazing lighting, composition and model expression in this one too. Best regards, Paolo

Then, even more impressing, Paul! I am very addicted to that kind of soft look which I try often to somehow mimic by slightly going out of focus. But it doesn't work at all this way. Or perhaps my version of "slightly" is already too much?
So, any advice for how to get that? I mean that kind of vague softness like in old movies with Ingrid Bergman, when the light seems to be refracted on contours in myriads of ways. This is exactly what I see here, and what I really wonder about is: Why then do the details remain intact? I would expect that some price has to be paid for that subtly softer look, but no! Everything is still there. Could it be that there are faces that simply look like this and fool us to think that the image is "softer"??
Strange thing this photography, I tell you!!! ;-)
Cheers!
Nick

Thank you, Nick. I actually didn't employ any diffusion or softening on her highlights.

That kind of... well, suspect (;-)) look together with the somewhat softened out appearance on her face make up for a different atmosphere, Paul. Still, despite the "soft appeal" the details are great! The shadows helped very much defining the profile, the relief of her face. And once again your skin hues are top of the arts!
Cheers!

Yeah, this one's super great. I think the color version is good but due to the hairstyle and stuff I would probably go with B/W just to take it a step further into "Trippy Land". The sweater works against my theory but whatever, check it out and decide, I think they're both very good.......
