Hi Valerij,I would like to thank you again for the advice about the lens,I have got 18-200 VR instade of 70-200 VR, it is also a good one with very good results,I have posted three of them using this fine lens with Nikon D300,just wanted you to know,if you interested these are my results, http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1482322 http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1480984 http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1481302 if you please, tell me your opinion. my best wishes, and regards, Saad.
Thanks Bill. No VR in 60 Micro? As they say the best VR in the market is out three legged friend. By the way my 60 mm is the old D type one which yealds better results than the newer 60 mm lens.
thank you dear very much for your answering my request,my D300 in its own way to me,with a kit lens I guess having no VR function (18-135) and I am thinking of an other lens,my best regards, thank you again, Saad.
Dear Saad, thanks for a comment. As to the lens (Nikkor 70-200 VR) it is indeed a very good lens. Excellent sharpness even at 2.8, and VR works very effectively. I can get sharp images at 1/30 sec and 200 mm quite easily. But... it's heavy, long and very pro looking. I repeat, it's an excellent lens.
