Thanks Joe, I remember commenting on your Screech Owl shots as they were awesome. This Owl seems to have its eyes open every time I see it? I actually wish I could have gotten a shot with them closed for the Camouflage effect. Nice shot of the owl Ken, you were fortunate to get him with his eyes open. When I was in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas there were a number of Screech Owl that would sit in similar holes in trees but they almost never fully opened their eyes as they sleep during the day. If he is 45 ft up then you must have been 45 ft. up. :) Regards, Joe
