A good idea for a photo, but technically flawed. The composition is good and the diagonal of the glasses lead your eye into the image. The main problem is the depth of field. The image would be better if all the image were sharply in focus. The hand would look better if it were sharper and brighter. You should crop off the left side just past the hand, that area is more of a distraction than a help. But it is a good effort, keep trying!

I agree with Arif's observation regarding the focus on the hand but nonetheless an excellent image with great DOF.
