Yes, there were two sand kitties at the zoo that time, I was watching them for quite a long period of time. While they were sleeping, then waking up, sucking milk and finally playing :)

Thank you very much, Cathy! Sand cat is a wild animal from deserts of north Africa and Middle East. As I saw, the kittens were about the size of domestic kittens and their mother were as big as an adult domestic cat - but rather slim domestic cat. Of course the ears are unique for this species 
This kitten is still very young, because it was sucking his mother but it grew up as much as it should to be very energic and curious :)
