Thank you very much Saad for all the comments :] Servals, like almost all of the wild cats, have declined in numbers unfortunately... But still this species is quite common in some places, I guess it can accomodate very well :) Regards,

Thanks, Keith! I don't think he would eat you, he's too small. Maybe just bite ;) I once was stroking a serval, but that one was tamed since he was a small kitten.

Yes...we have Asiatic cheetah in Iran and I was involved the cheetah conservation project with financial support by UNDP.

You know, I've been thinking about something: is there in Iran any cheetahs left? Most people think that it's only-African species, but cheetahs were living in Asia some time ago... I've read somewhere that the last Asian cheetahs are in Iran.

Thesis about serval - that sounds great  On my studies (journalism) I'll be writing the thesis about european magazines about cats :)
I love all cats as well, cats are my passion :) I write and take photos to Polish magazine about cats "Kot"; some months ago I wrote an article about serval, and this photo was published with the text :)
