Dave, this was so dramatic when it was happening. There was a wind and you could hear the hail coming in the distance it was so strong. Thanks for all of you comments and the time you take to share them.

Marty, That filter came with that film camera I got. The filter was the same size as my almost L lens so I wanted to see what it would do. It goes in the bag for future tries. Thanks for the kind words my friend. So far the back is holding out OK.
