This photograph looks very familiar. I might've critiqued it someplace else. My liking it still has not changed. Nice impromptu pose, beautiful face and reaction is very agreeable.

Ed, her smile and pose both look natural, and she seems at ease with you and the camera. However, her face seems a bit lost in shadow, and the side of her white sweater seems nearly blown out. I am not qualified to give serious portrait advice, but maybe a fill flash would have brightened her face a bit to complement that nice smile, and might have had an extra benefit of adding a catchlight in those eyes.
Based on your current postings here, people in your images seem comfortable with you (maybe not the serious birthday girl), which must be a big benefit as you shoot portraits!

It's a very nice shot, although I think you should darken that light halo around her body that probably happened if you blurred the background manually.

Nice expression and pose. This reminds me of an ad I saw recently, maybe its the tonality or the fun smile, maybe like a mentos commercial. This portrait is very flattering to the model, she myust really like it. Good work
