I was born and raised in Falls Church. Moved out here 20 years ago. Commuted to Tysons for 15 years on Rt.66. Man, am I glad thats over! I've enjoyed your entire portfolio. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for identifying the flower. BTW, we do not live far apart. I live near Rt. 66 just west of DC. Del.

Great picture. Mountain Laurel, poisonous to humans but deer and grouse love to eat it.

I don't know what it is, but it is pretty. It looks velvety. Nice close-up. MAry

Do not know the species but do like the image. The colors are very nice and I like the composition. I think the quality is acceptable for the amount you have cropped and enlarged. thanks for sharing, Stan

Thank you very much for your comment. I also noticed the specks and at first I thought it was noise but when I looked more closely the flowers were just covered with pollen. What appears to be noise is actually pollen. Because the flowers are in reality very very small the pollen looks exaggerated in size. I just now looked at your site and you have some beautiful photos. Del.

The beauty of nature .. colours and detail are great ! One little advice : there is some visible noise in the picture, look in the green areas .. a haul through Neatimage might help cure this problem ! Regards, Peter
