I think that the old tree at the top right integrates very well as an element of tension against the soft but well detailed grass on the field at the depth, Michele! And it does so both through shape and color. Take it away and the image would become very "uniform".
The somewhat hazy look raises the silent lucidity of the image. Another way to do that would be to have more contrast (attachment), but then the atmosphere is weaker too. So, especially for the sky and clouds, it was very good to let them be a bit less strong in contours.
Quite a good work! Keep it up!
