Daniel, very impressive shot...flash is perfect, detail is perfect, facial expression is perfect. The thing I like about this photo the most is the red lips...very stunning and well composed...please put up more...very interesting.

Nope, does not work for me. First, her forehead is blown out and so are her cheeks. The skin tones are not natural (there are so many shades it's amazing!). The black background does not work, because it blends in with her dark hair. Also the angle, looking down, makes us, the viewer, somehow superior and her made to look like a scared little mouse. This could have been good...but it isn't. You need more work on your portrait skills, Daniel.
Good of you to try, though.
