The door of the new house of the activists and the Association for Alternative Culture. Nice to read that about G8. (Put them in the hole = put them in jail.)
The idea behind G8, when it started as G6 in 1973, after an idea of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing about a forum of the industrialized democracies, it was a real forum, much like this one. As Helmut Schmidt, the former chancellor of Germany says, the heads of the leading countries met, in a very open, familiar atmosphere, in order to get to know each other, the hopes, dears, way of thinking, etc, and under the hope that the countries would approach each other, the activities of which influence the whole world. It was only just a few politicians that were willing to get a closer "feel" of what the other people thought, and how they thought. Unfortunately politics converted since then more and more to some kind of Muppet Show, and nowadays each of them is accompanied by a huge number of attachés, attachés of attachés, managers of attachés of attachés, and assistents of managers of attachés of attachés. And the whole theater eats up a huge amount of money, only for celebrating the "historical result that we found out that we agree that we disagree". ;-) Big deal isn't it? It's a big event for media, but that's all.
Back to the image, somebody has to call things by their real names, and I am glad to see that. And thus the image of the door of that house of activists.
Realmente me cuesta entederte los abouts de las fotos, sin dudas son una serie y me estoy perdiendo los detalles de tan interesante lugar, por ahí da para una collage, Aquí buenos lo detalles y la composición.
