It reminds me of your image "Merry Christmas to All!" some time ago, Dave! A quite simple presentation of the subject, that seems to have such an impact exactly because of its simplicity. I must say, the dark background made the most of it, considering details, plasticity and also coloring that you got very well. It seems to me that this kind of image keeps on returning in your work, or am I mistaken, Dave?
As about the subject in which the image is embedded, I can only hope that we some day understand that we really messed it up, and that the next generation is already paying for that mess. It's a shame to still have kids affected by war in the 21st century, when at the same time all diplomats bubble about peace in TV news.
If peace is to be achieved some day, as something that is much more than the time between two wars, it will only come from us. From all of us! And also using photography. So thanks a lot for the info and the link too!
