Wonderful example of the documentary style image. All the pieces in place, the dog, the sleeping man, the rickshaw. And so quiet, I've been to India, I know in a little while this street would be buzzing and this sort of image would be impossible to capture.

Yes. and surprisingly that Nat Geo feature was done by one of my friend. He was the interpretor in that project. Ami Vitalle took some good shots of kolkata rikshaw.

yes, this month (at least in spanish version) handheld rikshaws of Calcutta have a very interesting review in National Geographic; this shot could be a nice image for that chaapter; love the isolation of this man in the street, the bluish tone is very appropiate; perhaps is too clean for my taste, I mean it is too digital, but anyway a grand piece Deb...doc
