Quite unusual, empty looking, yet full of content, Ercole! It could be complete minimalistich photograohy, or also street photograohy full of details!
I find your composition so extraordinary here, as you enhance the important by including so much of the "unimportant". The monumental looking walls in all their strong natural details make the entrance of the two women so very strong in the scene. They seem so lost, but quite delightfully lost in the narrow roads!
I can't really say if a bit more contrast would be better. It could of course make the face expressions clearer, but it would also deliver a very unnatural look to those walls. I guess you did the right compromise here.
