Nice close-up of this little guy Dave!
They are starting to come out around here too. Last year they were a little too tame in our backyard. We started feeding them peanuts and we couldn't get rid of them.

Very sharp shot. I have those also and enjoyed them until they got under my driveway and I was afraid they would cause it damage. They are not easy to discourage to leave a good home.

And an even more sure sign of good photography, Dave! Such a good separation fo the main subject from ist background, under a very nice light! I consider the details on the fur to be very successfully captured, except perhaps the smal area near the bottom where they are outside the DoF. But especially its head/face are just perfect! I even see those tiny reflections on its carefully observing eye!
Again the same question, I guess: Did you prefocus for this one, or were you simply fast enough?
