I agree, this is a very static shot however there are some merits worth mentioning. The exposure is good since you're shooting into sky and the angle of flight is good. It's sharp and you probably had an interesting time trying to track this plane with a 300mm + crop factor.
If I were to crit this, the sky for me is unreal. You need to adjust the tone or white balance. Also, the purple fringing is a little bit off-putting around the edges of the frame but I don't think you can do much about this (I believe the blame lies with the optics of your lens).
Overall, I like this because if this was me I'd have probably blown out the sky and not got it in focus hehe.
This airplane looks static. There is nothing indicating any sort of movement. In my opinion airplanes are awesome objects to photograph. They are fast agile, but Your picture doesn't show it. You have some good ones in Your portfolio, but this is about average.
