A very beautiful sunset with a good composition showing part of the beach on the diagonal. I love how the light trails of the planes approaching the city create such nice patterns. Alison

Awww, you're so sweet. Actually photo 1 is over, this Saturday we have an exhibit to display our work to friends/family but I am starting photo 2 tomorrow :) this phase will be much more about style/history..etc rather than technical...it should be fun! I am looking forward to it. Thank you for being such a great motivator dear Michele, it helps me a ton!

Excellent depth and perspective here Julie ..the colors, and of course lets not forget the song is so appropriate and I love it too :)) The clarity in the details of the building on the right is amazing..I don't think you need any more photo classes ..YOU ARE A NATURAL :))

Funny you said that Francois, just yesterday I read a comment on someone's page here and this person said "so tired of sunset" I was shocked with that comment. I could never get tired of sunsets!

Yes that is indeed true about Holland. I want to go there someday, too bad my freind moved to Switzerland a couple months ago so I may be going to Switzerland before Holland :(

we all know holland is a windy country (since they are famous in windmill-- then it's normal to be windy right?), but today is a bit too much....
there is a storm since last night, but it gets worse today.
school is closed tonight due to storm, and the journal said: the storm is expected to increase so we strongly advice you not to go out tonight or day,hug,riny

oh I know...The expression "no kidding" means that I am saying "you're so right" so you're so right about not being easy to get the exposure right :) you should add that expression to the 200 words you already know...haha!

Very lovely sunset/seascape/cityscape, Julie! Gorgeous colors and I especially like how the edge of the water draws a line directly to the setting sun. Very well done! I love that song too and it fits well.
