Subha, Love the pic. I've tried repeatedly to grow these Iris flowers here (Thailand), but the climate is just against me.

This is a very good technical photograph of an Iris, and while it is very pretty with the black (painted board?) background, I would suggest you use a little backlight, allowing the translucent qualities of the Iris to come through, and adding depth to the composition.

the ghost image of the flower you see next to the white one was due to my use of rubber stamp to make the background even... i think.. or it must be the black board.. and i could not see it when i edited it.. at home.. it was done in a hurry..

Hi, Subha.
Great shot here! The dark background put the flower right in our eyes. Very beautiful colors and lighting. My only (and minimum) repair is I can see something like a "ghost image" on the left side of the flower, but this picture is realy lovely. Congrats again,
