Within the boundaries of the Methow Project are 10,322 acres of sparsely timbered grassland foothills dedicated to the annual production and harvest of wild game. This area lying in the Methow Valley was aquired primarly as winter range for mule deer. Its multipurpose acerage also insures perminate population of grouse and pheasant. The project provides lasting and diversified camping, mountain fishery, for campers and tourist. Purchased by the Department of game on benefit of sportsman of Washington.
