I saw the snowy fly right in front of me as I was driving on Frank Kenny near Innes. He flew from the field on the east side of Frank Kenny to the west side, but I couldn't stop so I didn't see where he landed. He is there though.

Joe,
Great catch, my friend. We should get together again soon. The Snowy Owl hasn't shown up in Navan yet, but I'll keep looking.

Qué expresivas esas águilas!!! Recortadas contra el cielo azul y bañadas por la suave luz, me parecen formidables! Felicitaciones!!!

Fishermen bald eagles turned into Carrion cleaner uppers!? Good to know their adaptability in urban environments as long as they dont end up in automobile accidents. Great shot of these two mature eagles!

Real nice Joe, lucky you to be able to even see them. I like they way they are perched, and two of them adds to the scene. Great grab.

Thanks Dave, they may be talking about their tasty meal. Yesterday, we noticed the dead deer in the ditch. Upon checking the surrounding area my wife noticed an eagle in tree some distance away. Due to trees and bushes between us and the eagle I couldn't get a clear shot. He then flew away. Today, I went back and saw these two eagles on the tree on a ridge on the other side of the road. This is the best shot I could get as they quite some distance away. Hopefully, I will see them again and get some close-up shots. It's exciting to know eagles live in your neighbourhood. They are such large impressive birds. Joe
