About This was shot as we cruised through one of the dramatic passages on the Polar Star Ice Breaker, not long after a storm relented.

I am also writing a blog on the trip for www.acdsee.com the photo software company if you are interested in checking it out. It is still in process I am adding more everyday.

Hi James,
I love storms. The drama they create allows me to feel reinvigorated.
Thanks for the blog hit...i am glad you are enjoying it. Actually i have been getting a few emails from interested readers.

yes, after a storm indeed. well having experienced many storms in my life, i can guess that an antarctic storm brings out some bad stuff.... and yes, people are looking at your blog tim. its quite interesting, and i'm glad to see you got your money's worth on that trip.

warmest regards ~ james

WOW Sascha thanks for checking the blog out! I just never know if anyone reads it so your comment means a lot to me. I am happy to share any of my experiences with all of those on this planet, if only to show how amazing it is. Hopefully we will be able to continue to live here for some time to come.

Hi Tim, I have already written a comment to one of your first posts. I am still impressed, Amazing site, though I don't want to change with you. I am a freeze ball and I could never survive their. Well never the less the series you post is very impressive and it is great showing us something like that what you don't see everyday. Thanks from me and all who appreciate your presentations. Happy New Year and all the best, Sascha

thanks Larry. But really i just make sure i am somewhat underexposed and bring out the contrast using levels in PS later on the computer. If you shoot in raw you have even more flexibility.
