6-8 weeks!! damn nice! hope to see good images when you finish if not before. I have been trying to post a blog of my travels as a experiment. Turns out to be a bit of a motivator story and picture wise. http://blog.acdsee.com/

Hi Tim. There are still going to be many places in China that will remain unaffected (for the foreseeable future) by the ongoing and rapid development of the country. The key is just to find out where they are and go there.
At the moment, I'm on an extended vacation (6-8 weeks), I'm just having a hard time figuring out where to go.
Best wishes ~ James

Hey, it is great to see you posting again. And as usual with a perspective that is intriguing and fresh. The opportunity of visiting all these various areas of China before the huge modernization totally takes hold is fantastic. Although many of these changes may not happen in our life times in the areas that you are exploring. Just the same, even the advent of TV coming to these distant areas never mind tourists creates huge changes in seeing what the other part of the world is like in comparison to what they have currently. As a photographer I am interested in how they are living before this huge change. You photos seem to touch on this very aspect in your travels. I am glad to be able to view a small segment of this through your lens. Is multi image perspective is a great way to bring this series of events together. Looking forward to more when you have time.
Tim
