This has such a power of expression by keeping ath the same time the rather silent attitude that makes suggestive thinking possible. In fact, it puts on the clothes of expression that the spectator taylors for it, and in this way it could be also named indirect expressionism. It is definitely one of its own kind by leaving as much in darkness and depicting as little as necessary for being able to adopt any possible interpretation.
To me it says much of the surreal - much of a world the rules of which I don't know, and inasmuch any rule is potentially possible. It is like facing something that yet has to be explored, or even better facing something that remains totally unexplored no matter how long I explore it.
Cheers,
Nick

Oh yes, awesome suggestive work and the words are spot on. If being painfully aware of one´s mask when facing the surroundings, it isn´t a natural helpful fernis anymore, but a burden. A portrait that for some strange reason is very sensual. Warm wishes Blueeye PS: A favourite

Being aware that you have a mask on, I think it is not the worse of things, it is the playing a a part without you being aware that you have a mask on that really weighs down so much. since you lose yourself & what you stand for & the mask becomes a second skin to you, that my friend i think is the heavy part. I really like you image Visar, as usualit makes me pounder & think. thanks for your friendship & support throughout 2007. happy 2008. E

Intresting image Visar. I like the dramatic effect that you have managed to capture in this photograph. You have some great images posted in your portfolio on Usefilm. I agree with your phrase above about the mask. Keep up the inspiring work. Regards, Nikki.

This is a beautifully executed image, and asks a lot of questions of and about the subject and maybe answers some as well, I'm not mad about the title but then that's often a personal matter, excellent work. Merry christmas!
