Thank you so much:-) He´s a newfoundlanddog, a huge and very gentle breed.
They thrive best in cold/cool areas. They were used to rescue people at sea- an instinct which lies very deep in them still - and to carry nets with fish ashore. They´ve also been used to carry timber in the Canadian woods.
