This is best possible usage of the available light and subject for creating an abstract that still is a depiction of someting in nature. Especially the tremendous coloring adds something quite unreal - between a microscopy image and an image under the sea. I find the almost diagonal concept very well fitting here since it balances so well between the sharp details and the more fuzzy background very well.
Cheers,
Nick

Very good technique, Joggie and your result was a very good blending. Where the colors are at the gooseberry, you make it look like the colors are an actual part of it. Anyway, the colors sure do show off the skeleton.
Best wishes, Dave

Yes, the famous "aperture" wars! The reason I asked was because the dof field seemed greater than f/2.8. Eb

A wonder! This is my favorite in the series. I love the rainbow effect and the color tones, as well as the detail in focus. Best, Minoo

Hi Eb - Sorry about that miscommunication (wars have been fought due to misunderstandings!). I meant the biggest physical aperture or smallest f-stop - f2.8 Take care! Joggie

Each of your presentations seems to get better and more fantastical, Joggie! As you say, the fusion with the background is perfected! I am not sure by "widest f-stop," do you mean f/22? Eb
