About Eucalyptus leaves . . . are not toxic to Koalas. What to do after you've eaten them? Nap, of course!

Hmmmm . . . Nope, Robin, you failed to have mentioned at anytime over the years your lifelong love for marsupial koala bears. They are, indeed, cute.

Why The Fuzz?? Weeeelllllll . . . uhhhhhh . . . That is to say . . . ya' see, I . . . ummm . . . was trying a new technique. I actually added grain too. My glasses were dirty. My monopod shook. Earthquake. This might be one of Jim Henson's leftovers. (You buying any of these)?

Thanks for the brutal honesty. ( *sniff* )
( *lip quiver* )

I can take it. I'm a manly man's man! :P

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

PS: You DO realize it's tougher to be honest critiquing each other than it is for one of us to get critiqued all over, don't you? :P

Wow John . . . I expected something a tad harsher! You gettin' old on me?? The light was actually more 'mottled' than low . . . And a faster shutter would likely have made a WORLD of difference. But . . . uhhhhh . . . he IS cute! :)

Doyle I <~~~~~

Focus! Or too much coffee....is it camera movement that is the culprit here?
He is very cute but would be much cuter if sharper.
I do like the tonal range you got out of this.
--Best to you, Jan

Good shot Doyle. I agree with AJ. I want to see the detailed texture in the fur.

Aha, he's CC'd one, so I can REALLY have a go at it!

Well, it's, er, really cute...

I think I might understand the "lint bear" thing. Looks like his fur has matted - there doesn't seem to be an area of sharp focus (ah, now we're getting somewhere). Looking at those settings I guess the light was pretty low, making this potentially tricky at 300mm. I wonder if you could have used a slightly faster shutter? Just a thought looking at the bright areas on the right arm (do koalas have arms?) and back. Also interesting to see you upped the ISO here from the previous koala shot, which was perhaps already a little bright.

Then again, what do I know about photography in zoos? Oh well, back to the eucalyptus leaves...

AJ

It's a shot of what happens to the lint in the dryer if you don't clean it . . . it becomes a lint bear! LoL! If you're looking for something nice to say . . . how about . . . Ummmm . . . animals are cute(?).

Cute image Doyle -- so Koala's just sleep sitting up I guess (?)) It sure appears to ... I guess if they lay down they would be more prone to danger-- really cute image and the B&W tones work well .....

Happy Thanksgiving ,
Michele~
