Wayne, thank you for your comments. I agree that Ronen has a right to his opinion and he stated it respectfully. I do also appreciate the comments and thoughts this has sparked!
Very nice Phil! Strong pose and expression! I like the grayish tone as well.
As far as the previous comments, I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I can give a lot of respect to one who will openly say their opinion in a professional and tactful manner. I disagree, however, and I'd like to say that I do like this image. There are many similar images in high fashion right now and the ones I have seen portray an "obviously of age" girl in a youthful setting. She is not nude, and for that matter, there are girls, not of age, less dressed at your local swimming pool. Now, to agree with Ronen, I am entirely against child predators, and I agree that every effort should go toward putting them behind bars but I think that those efforts would be better spent aiming at the appropriate targets. This is nothing more than a very well achieved fashion shot. Congrats on the image and on the controversy! :)
hi Phil, i cant go on in such a discussion because of my bad english but i will try to explain myself. first of all i'm NOT accusing you in anything. now,the real age of the model is not the issue here, what is ,is the hidden message that some people may see here, and you probably know what i'm talking about. your client/model ask for something that if it was for personal use it may be o.k but in the minute it published it deliver a message to so many people out there, well, i know you didnt invent anything and this kind of images publish on evry commercial media on earth but i try to say something against the phenomenon as i realy think it helps to increase the violence against woman and little child. as i once say to one of UF members, evrybody can publish what he see as art but it means that evrybody else can critisize him for that, thats democracy :) anyway,in the thechnical area you sure succeed(otherwise i wouldn't comment ;))just look how many views you got be well ronen
Ronen, I appreciate your comment and thank you for taking the time to comment. Not too many have. Perhaps the title needs to be changed. The young lady depicted here is not underage, she is 23. In the world of anime, which she is very heavy into, there are characters depicted as slightly Lolitaish, which is what she wanted us to accomplish. It was not my intention to stir, as you put it"bad actions" but to take a clients vision and put it on film. I was not trying to be controversial, in fact, if you knew me you would I am anything but that. Art I think it is, and as art, it is open to interprtation. I thank you for yours.
i'm not a puritan but i must comment we see here alot of nudity but that o.k,we see provocative photos and sometimes it also o.k. excuse me for saing it but in this one you went to far, there are so many sick people out there that can interpretate it not as an attempt to create art and the way to bad action is not far. i believe you didnt want your doughter be in a photo like this
