Nice image, but if I'd have to choose I'd stay with the earlier one :) Good work though, it's great to explore otehr alternatives.

well, Bernar, nothing more that I can say. I like the colors and the minimalist approach... yes, the subject is interesting from that regard. As you said, you would like to have a wide angle lens, I think any improvement on this would be to use a wide angle and somewhat distort the bollard.
Best to you, Dave

I agree with you in the first regard. The other shot involve more technique, and is more "spectacular". But I can`t resist to the beauty of this bollard simplicity. I want to center the attention in the marks of the pass of time. The rust and the oxide in the floor. Definitely this is a minimalist image as you said. But Dave, I need this critique constructive, please carry on it. Best wishes Bernar

I don't know, Bernardo. I like this in two regards, the coloring and the textures. But on the other hand, it is a let down from the first one you posted where you had such a dramatic scene with the structure in the back ground and the low angle.
I guess from a minimalist standpoint, it fits and makes a fine example because of the colors and textures. So I will try and take that objective into consideration and congratulate you on making that work.

Excellent classic port composition Bernardo, I love that element and its rust, the colors are great and so the placement into the frame, it's a nice framework. Best regards!!!
