Mil gracias, Luis!!!

Abrazos,

I'm playing too, here. I think I do like the image better in B/W.

I'd be interested. In fact, how can you resist?? I peeked using only Microsoft Office Picture Manager and got the attached . . . It certainly wouldn't hurt to play with it, eh??

Thanks, Doyle!!! I'm thinking of playing with it in B/W too to see if that makes it a bit more dramatic, what do you think?
Best,
JP

Dear Marian, I would have been terrified had I had this street mime pointing anything potentially lethal at me!!! I felt somewhat protected behind the lens ;)
Thanks!!!

Thanks so much for your observations, Jim. As I said above, it really was sort of eerie to be there --Madrid was also bombed by terrorists just a couple of years ago, not far from where I took this photo-- and see that the expression of nervous laughter on this guy's face pretty much summed up how I, too, felt.
Saludos,
JP

Interesting angle for the shot. Oh that was bad...
I like the layers of contrast that are going on in this... human...statue, friend...foe, militant...civilian, sunglasses off to take in the world as it is...sunglasses on to filter the world as it is seen. Cool pic.
Keep it Sharp. Jim

Thanks, Dave. Actually it is one of the 'living statues' that are all over Madrid, as well as other cities (i.e. people who 'act' like statues).
Given the recent terrorist activity in Madrid, however, I did think twice about seeing a guy pull a gun out in public!
Saludos,
JP

Very strange statue, JP... makes me ponder what it represents....
Captured at the perfect moment, though.
