I am back - paging through pages of dull flowers: brilliantly colored in exquisit detail and I am bored to death - this is beautiful fresh and moves me....

the composition is fantastic!! the square format and the use of crossed diagonals is great. i like less the lighting, i'd like to see more details and to "feel" more the textures. very good image. regards, Luigi

I usually enjoy writing a few lines of gut feelings and feeble poetics when viewing your work, influenced by the way you comment with your soul, and influenced by the brilliance of your imagery that needs no technical notes - the viewer either gets it or not, takes it or leaves it, but always tends to react in some way, which is what art is really all about. But I have to say that this image is so beautifully rendered, with perfect tone and symmetry, non-color color, and detail as sharp as it's title... I stare and stare, drawn into the vortex, and then back off to bask in the velvet texture of those leaves, and then to the thorny protection once again... What a feast for the eye and soul here... Fabio, this is perfect!!!

kita is right - there is a weight here - a sense of it falling in and closing all around - you
a sense of danger above...because this somehow feels above rather than below
sometimes there is something edible behind the prickles - did you know that?

I hope that,s not your soul today... it is a fabulous image-the fact that you have kept it so dark. Why could you not live under those skies? you CANT start saying things like that and not explain!
