I don't use a bag and do throw the D80 & D70 on the car saet and off I go They're pretty tough ...I actually dropped the D70 on a marble floor. the battery door popped off and went sliding...I said assorted unplesantries put the battery door back on and no harm done

Beautiful toning Larry, clowns are scary!! 
Though...this shot looks like a tender moment, enlightening to the girl...
I am trying to get used to not being able to throw the D80 onto the front seat of the car like I could with the Kodak!
Into the bag...out of the bag..into the bag...grrrrr
But still, everywhere I go, it goes LOL

My D80 is lighter than the D200 (plastic body) however I have the battery grip and two batteries on it.....fairly heavy...The D70 has none of this and is easy to carry around...I also have a 4 year old Canon A70 P&S that's great to stick in a pocket and does really nice stuff if I'm patient

I try to, but it is so darned heavy. I am tossing up whether to get a snappy thing that I can chuck in a handbag, but I love the quality of the D200...tho its not much good if I don't have it with me. Deary me, what a quandry. How heavy is your camera? CC
