Dear Bill, I meant no offence, I was just being honest, in my humble opinion saying this picture is great would quite unfair to you. I bet this arboretum can be attractive and no doubt was it so to you, I'm saying I just can't see it through this particular picture - neither the beauty of this place nor your interest in it. I also am sorry. My main purpose in photography is to take pictures of objects that are pleasing to the eye. I went though your entire portfolio and decided that you and I have different objectives in photography and I have always felt that if I can't say something kind about other peoples work to keep my mouth shut. Sorry, the whole picture is just about nothing, and nothing attractive is in there. If you like this flower bed so much - come closer, take out details, the best of it. Hope this helps. cheers.
