I can look at this image for a long time. The yellow nipples should not be disregarded. How can you, it is the first thing that your eye goes to after the face. The marks of the sculptor, the sadness in the face, the muscles in the arms. So 3 dimensional. Great....

They can achieve great things and yet are so vulnerable the blind. :)
Disregarding her yellow nipples, I love the carvers marks shown here. I'm reminded of a wood cut marseilles deck devil with those circular strokes, as well as a bra worn by the pop diva madonna.
Was it at one stage fashionable to leaves ones thumbprints on a work in such a way?
