Beverly, all of your flower macros are absolutely exquisite! I particularly like this one because of the unusual blossom ant razor sharp detail. The soft colors and the composition make this one really stunning. Great work, and thanks for your coments. I wish my eyes were as sharp as yours.

Dan, this is the natural shape of the flower, it is a Passion Vine bloom, native and in some areas growing wild in Florida

Not sure if this is natural form of the flower or you just laid it out that way for the shot.... Either way you have captured lot of details ...now I am staring at this trying to figure out all details :)

Very artistic and lifelike, almost 3-D. Maybe cropped a little too tightly. I would rate it but the rating scale does not appear.

Exquisite flower well presented in the water...sharp detailed and beautiful colors...looks like your dof is excellent top to bottom but even with f32 it seems to lose just a bit front to back...excellent composition and again, the water makes anexcellent presentation

this is very interesting, i am unable to rate this picture, all i can do is write a comment. Please notify Administrator regarding this.. beverly gustafson.. i really like this shot.. i like the color details and the sharpness of this macro shot.. "guftafson" is an interesting last name.. reminds me of my favorite movie "grumpy old men".
