Wow Dave . . . repost? Good, I'd hate to think you made the fly pose twice! LoL! Creepy feel and mostly silhouetted but you certainly get a feel for the drama.

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Wow this is scary, i really don't like spiders. One can sense the power of the spider with his menacing pose and the bug below looks as if it is cowering below. Alison

Very nice Silhouette and the b/w effect works well. You can almost just stare at the different lines in the shot. The spider looks so much more massive, great idea Dave. Best regards.

Very neat, Dave! Lots of drama is accentuated by the sparse black and white approach. (Like an old grainy movie!)

An interesting shot Dave.
There is something kind of clinical and stark about this one that adds some tension to the image. I think that has a lot to do with the creepy aspect.

Hi Dave, almost a touch of the Alfred Hitchcock in this one..very sinister.Nice stark image that reminds that colour isn't always needed.Regards, Brian

Dramatic image. I think the spider is a metaphor for theft, or loss, and so we can see that metaphor and are afraid, here. The solid black body is an emphasis, too.

oh my GOD!!! Already a clear terror photo and the greyscale with the strong contrast on the spyder and the fly makes it more and more freeky!!! PERFECT!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT PHOTO!!! Congratulations for that shot Dave!
Best regards!

It reminds me of the last scene of the old version of the movie "The fly", Dave. A very good idea to post it in B&W! Some focus problems here and there, and so I guess the usual fight for DoF of a macro. Anyway, this also made the web invisible, which I find a good thing since it enhances the spider itself.

But the fly... it looks quite deformed. Errrm, did you caught it and throw it on the web? ;-)

Best wishes,

Nick

Looks great, Dave! The little bit of web adds to the drama - "trapped"!
